Tunnel Meet and Seasonal Meeting Results
We had fantastic participation in the first ever CaSL Tunnel Meet and Seasonal Meeting.
There were a total of 14 teams that competed:
We had five rounds of competition. Each team competed in either 2 or 3 rounds per 15 minute tunnel session. Team Last Minute and team Paraclete-XP were fantastic in doing all 5 rounds in one session.

· Inclusion of 8-way competition as a Sunday event at three of the meets.
· Inclusion of Swooping as a Saturday event at meets held at Raeford Paracute Center and Skydive Carolina
· We decided not to add a Novice Class to the competition
· Jan Lane has agreed to help at all the meets for coaching and judging
· Registration fees and number of rounds will remain the same as last year
o Rookie: $60 registration, 4 rounds
o Intermediate and Open: $100 registration, 6 rounds
o 8-way: $100 registration, 4 rounds to be held on Sunday
o Swooping: $10 registration, 3 rounds
· Stay tuned to the web-site for information on possibly adding 2-way VRW as well as the rules for Swooping and the draw for 8-way and possibly additional tunnel meets or scrambles.
· Carolina ICE presented a framed picture to the league in appreciation for all of the league's help. Paraclete-XP has agreed to display the picture at the wind tunnel.
· Way too much food and drink was available to all competitors (but not enough beer).
· Awards were presented for the Tunnel meet
· A special thanks to Eric Heinsheimer for judging the tunnel competition in spite of the fact that CaSL had not provided to him a decent stopwatch. A contribution to the Wounded Warrior's fund will be made in his name for his help at the meet.
